As a Voluntary Controlled School, admissions are managed centrally through the local authority.

Children are admitted to Reception in accordance with the policy of North Yorkshire County Council. Visits to the school are welcome. Please contact the school office to arrange a visit and to find out the admission dates for the coming year.

Reception

All Reception aged children will join the school in the September that they turn 5.  There is only one intake each year. North Yorkshire's Education Department deals with applications for Reception admissions. Providing that you live within North Yorkshire and have registered with a local doctor, you should automatically receive information about the admission process. NYCC prefer on-line applications and the school office can help with this if necessary.
