Here you will find information about how to apply for a place in our school.

We hold tours during the Autumn term for you to come and look around our school, meet some of the staff and children and have the opportunity to ask questions.

Reception

All Reception aged children will join the school in the September of the year that they turn 5.  There is only one intake each year. Providing that you live within North Yorkshire and have registered with a local doctor, you should automatically receive information about the admission process.

Deferred entry into Reception

A child is entitled to a full time place in the September following their 4th birthday. Parents have the right to defer their child's entry until later in the school year, or to attend part-time until they reach compulsory school age.

In Year Admissions:

Year 1 to 6
For families moving into the area, or for children changing schools during the year, in-year admissions to the school are dealt with by North Yorkshire  County Council at www.northyorks.gov.uk or telephone the In-Year admissions team on 0845 8 72 73 74

If your child is at school at another local school, please discuss your request for a move with your child's current school setting as there is a local cluster policy that such requests are discussed between headteachers.

We warmly welcome visits from prospective parents at any time. Please telephone the school office on 01756 793030.
