As Lent begins during half term, Revd. Kathia came into school to lead our worship and explain more about the significance of the ash that is used to mark a cross. The children were able to choose to have an ash cross marked on their hands or their foreheads, and understood that this was and is a way of showing that they have asked God for forgiveness.
