We are delighted to announce that we are now a United Against Bullying GOLD school!
This is not an easy award programme: only 11% of schools that took part achieved the gold award.
As part of the programme, pupils took part in surveys, pupil voice conferences, activities and lessons. We are especially proud of how they have used the learning from the programme to improve their relationships and reduce bullying.
We have been particularly well supported along the way by our pupil leadership groups; the Wellbeing Champions and the Digital Leaders who have led pupil workshops, assemblies and parent events as well as provided ongoing support for pupils of all ages.
Our award was achieved in recognition of the hard work and commitment that every member of our school community has put in to it and the difference that this has made to wellbeing and the school experience. As one Wellbeing Champion said, 'Our school has become more harmonious and welcoming and we are very happy about being here.'
