As an Anti-Bullying Alliance 'United Against Bullying' (DfE) GOLD AWARD school, we have a proactive commitment to ensuring that our children, staff and parents have the skills and knowledge that they need to minimise bullying, and, when it does occur, to effectively manage it for all concerned.
This week, our children have been taking part in some additional activities to keep their skills and knowledge in 'tip-top' shape. Many of these have ben led by our Wellbeing Champions, including those which were held as part of our Parent Event. Parents and children were provided with information about the Anti-Bullying Alliance, the school's policies and approaches to teaching and learning about bullying, including online, and then they took part in some practical activities.
A really informative and well-attended event.
