Our Vision is for our children to experience ‘Life in all its fullness’ (John 10:10).
Following the Christian inspiration of Jesus, our children will flourish and enable others to grow. Our school will be a place where aspiration and hope enable the growth of knowledge, wisdom and skills for all.
Our church school values help to guide us in all that we do in school.
Christ Church Team
As a church school, we have very close links with Christ Church and we visit the church regularly. The children really enjoy seeing Reverend Ruth and Reverend Alex when they come into school to share Collective Worship with us. We are very much a community.
We come together every day for Collective Worship. This is an opportunity to share in prayer, reflection and song. Once a week our Collective Worship is lead by the Christ Church Team. Children take a very active role in leading and participating in Collective Worship, alongside the Christ Church Team and teachers, helping them to develop their understanding of the stories in the Bible stories and how they relate to their own lives and beliefs.
Prayer is a very important part of our day at Christ Church School. For some children it plays an important part in strengthening their relationship with God. For others it provides them with a calm, peaceful space to reflect and be still. Our new prayer space provides an additional space for individual reflection and prayer and is full of resources such as the Bible, books and tactile objects.
In our school RE has an important place and we are proud to hold the RE Quality Mark Gold Award in recognition of this.
