Our school council is made up of representatives from our children's groups as well as our house captains.
In school council meetings we:
- feedback about what has been going on in our children's groups
- review key school policies with teachers, for example the anti-bullying policy
- discuss upcoming events, for example open days. We are ambassadors for the school and part of our job is to take potential new parents and children on tours around the school and answer any questions they may have.
- discuss changes to the school, for example the playgrounds and act as representatives for our peers. We gather other children's views on these through surveys or polls and communicate our findings to the teachers.
